Description
These Honey Balsamic Brussels Sprouts are crispy, sweet, tangy, and unbelievably easy to make — a perfect side dish for any dinner or holiday gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, stems removed and halved
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice off ends and halve Brussels sprouts. Spread on a large baking sheet without crowding.
- Drizzle with avocado oil, sprinkle with sea salt and pepper, and toss to coat. Arrange cut side down.
- Roast for 18–20 minutes, until edges are crispy and golden brown.
- In a small saucepan, combine olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar, and grated garlic. Simmer on medium-low for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Transfer roasted Brussels sprouts to a bowl, drizzle with warm glaze, and toss gently to coat.
Notes
For extra crispiness, don’t overcrowd the pan. Roast cut side down and double the glaze if serving with other dishes like chicken or potatoes.
