- 1 teaspoon dried mint
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel
- ½ teaspoon dried ginger
Instructions
- Heat filtered water to 175–185°F (just below boiling).
- Add 1 teaspoon of your tea blend per 8 oz of water to an infuser or teapot.
- Pour the hot water over the blend, allowing the leaves to fully expand.
- Steep for 2–3 minutes for a mild flavor or up to 4 minutes for a stronger brew.
- Strain and enjoy hot, or brew double strength and pour over ice for a refreshing iced tea.
Notes
Store your homemade blend in an airtight jar in a cool, dry place. Avoid boiling water or oversteeping to prevent bitterness and preserve antioxidants.
