Description

A creamy, savory spread made with garlic, fresh herbs, and cream cheese — perfect on bagels, in pasta, or as a dip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz plain cream cheese, softened
  • 23 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 12 tsp lemon zest (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 12 tbsp milk or light cream (optional, for smoother texture)

Instructions

  1. Let cream cheese soften at room temperature for easier mixing.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic, parsley, chives, and dill.
  3. Add salt, black pepper, and lemon zest (if using).
  4. If needed, stir in milk or cream to adjust the consistency.
  5. Mix thoroughly until smooth and well blended.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  7. Transfer to a clean container and refrigerate for up to one week.
  8. Let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before serving for best spreadability.

Notes

You can use dried herbs if fresh aren’t available—start with 1 tsp each and adjust to taste. Great as a spread, dip, or mix-in for warm dishes like pasta or mashed potatoes.
