Ingredients

  • Beef (sirloin or tenderloin)
  • Baby or Yukon gold potatoes
  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Paprika (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or thyme

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over high heat and add a little oil.
  2. Add beef pieces in a single layer and sear until browned.
  3. Flip and cook briefly, then remove and set aside.
  4. Add potatoes to the same skillet and cook until golden and tender.
  5. Reduce heat and add butter and garlic.
  6. Stir until butter melts and becomes fragrant.
  7. Return beef to the skillet and toss to coat.
  8. Cook for 1–2 minutes, garnish with herbs, and serve.

Notes

Use a hot skillet for best sear. Avoid overcrowding the pan. Fresh garlic and herbs enhance flavor. Serve immediately for best texture.
