Description

This bariatric gelatin recipe is a light, satisfying, and protein-rich snack perfect for post-surgery recovery, gut health, or everyday weight management. Easy to make and easy to customize.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (preferably grass-fed)
  • 1 cup water, divided

  2. Heat the remaining ½ cup water until hot (not boiling).
  3. Stir the hot water into the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. Add the no-sugar juice or flavored drink and stir until smooth.
  5. Customize with fruit, yogurt, or other add-ins as desired.
  6. Pour into small cups or a glass dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
  7. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Do not freeze.

Notes

Use grass-fed gelatin for best health benefits. Avoid raw pineapple, kiwi, mango, or papaya (unless cooked). This recipe is gentle, filling, and ideal for post-bariatric diets or weight loss routines.
